前回の続きです。以下の"Nyonya Cooking"さんのお料理動画から、いくつか英単語や表現を抜き出して勉強します。

各単語と表現の説明
- discard～（他動詞）
- 意味：～を捨てる、～を処分する
- 例文：
- Lets's discard the water.
- Discard vegetable peels.
- I need to discard some old books.
- メモ："throw away～"や"dispose of～"、"remove～"とほとんど同意。口語では"remove～"、"throw away～"をよく使います。
- give ～ a rinse
- 意味：～をかるくすすぐ、～をかるく洗う
- 例文：
- You need to give it a quick rinse to remove impurities.
- It's better to give it a rinse under cold water.
- "under"の代わりに"with"でもほぼ同意
- メモ："give～a rinse"のイディオムで暗記しましょう
- smoked garlic（名詞）
- 意味：燻製にんにく
- roast～（他動詞）
- 意味：～をあぶる
- 例文：
- I am going to roast it without any oil.
- I roasted a chiken for dinner.
- I am roasting coffee beans.

- 意味：熱くなっている、熱せられている
- 例文：
- This pan is already heated.
- After the soup is heated, let it cool for a while before serving.
- Make sure your pan is properly heated before you get started.

- 意味：～するまでに数分かかる
- 例文：
- It is going to take a few minutes until the cake is fully baked.
- It is going to take a few minutes until the meeting starts.
- メモ："It will take a few minutes until～"に置き換え可能
- brown（自動詞）
- 意味：茶色になる、焦げ目がつく
- 例文：
- It is going to take a few minutes until it starts to brown.
- The chicken is browning nicely.

- 意味：球根、茎
- good to go / be good to go
- 意味：準備万端、準備OK
- 例文：
- Good to go!（I am good to go!）

- 例文：
