各単語と表現の説明

  • juiciness（名詞）
    • 意味：みずみずしいおいしさ
    • 例文：The green onions give it a bit of juiciness.（ネギがそれにみずみずしいおいしさをもたらしている）
  • it is not as ～ as I though it would be
    • 意味：思ったほど～ではない
    • 例文：
      • It was not as spicy as I thought it would be.（思ってたほど辛くなかった）
      • It was not as hard as I thought it would be.（思ってたほど難しくなかった）
      • It was not as good as I thought it would be.（思ってたほど良くなかった）
      • It was not as cold as I thought it would be.（思ってたほど寒くなかった）
    • メモ："～"には形容詞が入る

    • 例文：

    • 意味：（値段が）高い、値が張る

    • 意味：起こる、生じる、源を発する
    • 例文：

    • 意味：半端じゃない存在、本物
    • 例文：He is the real deal.（彼は本物です）
