- decadent(形容詞)
- 意味:ぜいたくな、優雅な気分の
- 例文:
- So decadent.(めっちゃぜいたくだわ)
- The cake was very rich and decadent.(そのケーキ、味が濃厚でぜいたくだ)
- She lives a decadant lifestyle.(彼女の私生活はぜいたくだ)
- fluffiness(名詞)
- 意味:フワフワ感
- 例文:I love the fluffiness of the towel.(そのタオルのフワフワ感が好きです)
- メモ:発音はflʌ́finəs。フワフワしている、もふもふしているはよくfluffy(形容詞)を使う。
- It's so fluffy.(それめっちゃモフモフやん)
- I need a fluffy pillow.(フワフワした枕がほしい)

- 意味:~の余地がある、~のスペースがある
- 例文:

- メモ:I always have room for desert. でもOk。
- definitely(副詞)
- 意味:絶対に、もちろん
- 例文:
- I will definitely come again.(絶対また来ます)
- I will definitely do it.(それ絶対やります)
- A:Can you call me at 3pm?(3時に電話くれる?)
- B:Definitely.(もちろん)
- apparently(副詞)
- 意味:一見したところ~のようだ、どうやら~のようだ
- 例文:
- Apparently, there will be a test tomorrow.(どうやら明日テストがあるようだ)
- Apparently, it's going to rain this afternnon.(どうやら午後から雨みたい)
- Apprently, their business isn’t going well.(どうやら彼らのビジネスはうまくいっていないみたい)
- メモ:Apparentlyは通常、文頭に使う。また明らかに~だの意味はない。
- put ~ on a skewer
- 意味:~を串に刺す
- 例文:
- These have been put on a skewer.(これらは串につけられている)
- You need to put them on a skewer to grill.(焼かないといけないから、あなたそれらを串につけて)
- We put everything on a skewer and deep fry it.(我々はなんでも串カツにします)
- candied(形容詞)
- 意味:砂糖漬けの、砂糖でコーティングされている
- 例文:
- These are candied.(これらは砂糖漬けにされている / 砂糖でコーティングされている)
- Candied fruits.(砂糖漬けの果物)
- plum(名詞)
- 意味:レーズン、干しブドウ
- go with~
- 意味:~を選ぶ
- 例文:
- We finally decided to go with it.(我々は最終的にそれに決めた)
- I will go with this one.(これにします)
- crunchy(形容詞)

- 意味:あのね、知ってる?、ちょっと聞いてよ
- sneak into~
- 意味:~に潜入する、~に忍び込む
- 例文:
- He snuck into my room.(彼こっそり私の部屋に入った)
- How did he sneak it into the room?(彼どうやってそれをその部屋に持ち込んだんだ?)
- メモ:sneakの過去形・過去分詞形はsnuckかsneaked。sneakedはどちらかというと書き言葉のほうでよく使われるらしい。
- You've gotta bite hard.
- 意味:強くかまなきゃ
- メモ:You have to bite hard.でOk
- seep(動詞)
- 意味:にじみ出る、染み出る、漏れる
- 例文:
- It is seeping all over the place.(それそこらじゅうに漏れてるね)
- The smell is seeping out from the cracks.(においがその割れ目から漏れてるね)
- all over the placeはそこらじゅうにの意味
- make a mess
- 意味:散らかす、汚す
- 例文:
- I am making a mess on someone's storefront.(誰かの店の前を汚しちゃった)
- If you make a mess, please make sure you clean it up.(散らかしたら、必ず片付けてください)
- storefront(名詞)
- 意味:店の正面、店頭、店舗
- run off
- 意味:走り去る、逃げる
- 例文:We'd better run off.(僕ら逃げた方が良いよ)
- メモ:We had better run offのこと。よくネイティブはhad betterのhadの発音を軽くするのでhadがほとんど聞こえない。
